You can make files available to your users in the Mobile Content Manager via the Cortado administration portal. The files are uploaded to the administration portal and pushed to the users' devices. Users can then find the files in the Cortado app on their iOS/iPadOS and Android devices.
Note! This feature is only available to users of a Pro or Enterprise plan.
- In the administration portal, select Administration→ Files to open the Cortado Mobile Content Manager.
- Click on the plus button (arrow in illus.) to upload a new file to the administration portal.
- Upload the file by clicking on Select File (arrow in illus.).
- You will then find the uploaded file in the left column.
- The Details tab lists further information about your files. You can also see here how much storage space is available in total.
Note! Your storage space is limited to 1000 MB or 1000 files.
- To make the file available to users, select it in the next step (left arrow in illus.).
- Then click on Assign (right arrow in illus.).
- Now assign the file to the desired users or groups.
- Alternatively, you can also add and remove the files under Administration→ Users or under Administration→ Groups in the Files tab (example for users in the image).
Users can now find the files in the Cortado app under Files (arrow in illus.) on their iOS/iPadOS or Android devices. The files can be downloaded to the mobile devices and opened and edited with other managed apps. User instructions for the Cortado app can be found here.
Note! The Cortado app is not available by default on iOS/iPadOS devices. You must first add the app in the app management and then assign it. Further information on this can be found in the corresponding help article.
Note! The files feature is on iOS/iPadOS devices with a work profile (BYOD) only available in the managed Cortado app (and not in the app version that users can download themselves from the App Store). This ensures that company files can only be opened/edited in managed apps.
