This article provides an overview of the menu item Profiles in the Cortado app for Android.
- On the start page of the Cortado app select the menu item Profiles.
Now you can see which profiles your administrator has assigned to you. Profiles are available both for devices with a work profile and for fully managed devices.
In the example, a WLAN profile was assigned to a device with a work profile (left illus.). With the help of the WLAN profile, a WLAN connection to the company WLAN is automatically created on the device. You no longer need to set up this connection yourself. You can find information about this WLAN profile in the Cortado app (middle illus.). You can see the automatically established WLAN connection in the Settings of your device under Saved networks (right illus.).
For the example in the image, a certificate profile has also been assigned (left illus.). This certificate profile is automatically installed in the certificate store of your device and saved in the settings under Trusted credentials (right illus.). In the Cortado app, you can find information about the assigned certificate (middle illus.).
